Family Zoo: The Story is a puzzle game where you have to upgrade the city zoo. To do it, you've got solve match-3 style puzzles that let you get the resources you need to rebuild the zoo.
The gameplay in Family Zoo: The Story is quite simple. You've got to upgrade the zoo or otherwise a big company will raze the area to build a supermarket. Your aim is to bring back enough of the zoo's former glory to make the city residents want to visit it again and think it's no longer a good idea to destroy it. Every match-3 round lets you buy upgrades for the zoo: a prettier door, nicer landscaping, a prettier and more pleasant space for all the animals.
The gameplay in the match-3 is standard for the genre: you've got to match three or more pieces of the same type to remove them from the board. If you match more than three, you'll get special pieces to help you boost your score.
